We fully acknowledge that construction sites are dangerous, and we constantly seek to minimise risk through careful design and adherence to CDM regulations. We follow an ‘eliminate, reduce, identify’ methodology. Wherever possible, risks are eliminated during the design phase and where they cannot be removed entirely, they are reduced. Any remaining risks are clearly identified on the drawings.

We never treat Health and Safety as a tick box exercise. To ensure that risks and hazards are not overlooked, we use prominent Safety, Health & Environmental (SHE) boxes and warning triangles on our drawings, which clearly communicate residual risks. In addition to enhancing site safety, the SHE boxes help to drive behavioural change by requiring designers to identify and declare the hazards that they are creating through their designs. Our detailed Health & Safety Policy is available for inspection if required.

We'd be delighted to provide more information or answer any queries you may have.
