Yorkshire Bank, Wakefield

Client: Lemmeleg
Services Provided: Civil & Structural

This project was completed for CDP/Marshalls and involved the demolition of a life expired office/retail building with the listed facade extensively renovated and incorporated into the re-constructed bank premises.

The site adjoins Wakefield Cathedral and basement excavations uncovered ancient human remains which required careful exhumation and reinternment on consecrated ground elsewhere.
