New-build self-storage unit in Hounslow, adjacent to Heathrow airport.
Mutli-storey unit with 82,260 sq ft internal floor area, split over four floors. The majority of storage area is provided by demountable mezzanine structure. However, areas of the building which oversail the car parking and loading bays required a more permanent floor structure, which in turn was required to carry the demountable mezzanine structure to the storeys above.

MJM have provided a full civil/structural design service including site preparation, drainage and full structural design including steelwork, permanent upper floors, ground floor slab, foundations and drainage.

MJM also provided S278 design services to widen the site entrance and remove the existing traffic island within the bellmouth.
Work is due to start on site in February 2022.
