A 97000 sq ft retail unit constructed ‘on stilts’ for Morbaine. The site was bounded by a viaduct to one side and the Water of Leith to the other so all works had to be completed to the approval of both SEPA and Network Rail. In addition the existing site provided flood storage for the Water of Leith so the proposed levels required detailed analysis to ensure that flood storage volume was maintained. The full design was SER certified in-house.
