Another highly complex £2.0m structural engineering project for CDP on a confined city centre site to create modern multi-storey retail and leisure units. The original semi-derelict buildings were demolished except for the listed Queensgate façade which was retained and refurbished. Adjoining buildings required careful temporary support, particularly adjoining deep basement excavations formed with a combination of conventional and contiguous bored pile retaining walls.
MJM have worked with CDP for over 20 years.
