Bridlesmith Gate, Nottingham

A difficult and demanding structural engineering project for JEMA Property Fund on a confined city centre site to create modern multi-storey retail units including basements.

The demolition alone of the former public house was a major exercise requiring extensive strengthening and propping to unsafe adjacent structures. The piled foundations were bored through the near surface sandstone to found below the extensive network of caves beneath the site.

We'd be delighted to provide more information or answer any queries you may have.
